Meet Our Business Office Manager

Jamie Mello

Jamie has been part of the staff at New Jersey Surgery Center since inception in October 2004. Initially, Jamie came on board as the surgical coder for the facility. She is a member of the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC) and is in the process of completing the Independent Study Program for Certified Professional Coder-H. As opportunities became available in the Surgery Center, Jamie rose to the occasion and was willing to take on the challenge. She was promoted to the Business Office Manager. As the Business Office Manager she is responsible for the daily operations of the Business Office.

Jamie has twelve years of experience in the medical administrative and health insurance field. Her expertise is in accounts receivable and reimbursement.

She is married to Jason, a former Marine and now career firefighter and has two sons, Jacob and Carter. When she is not at work, she enjoys playing with her sons, reading, and trying out new recipes.
