Meet Our Clinical Director

Madeline Skarpetowski, RN, BSN, CNOR

Madeline F. Skarpetowski, RN, BSN, CNOR has been an OR Nurse for over 30 years. She was employed in a hospital setting as a staff nurse and the coordinator of ten OR’s before joining the staff at the New Jersey Surgery Center. She has been a Certified OR Nurse for almost 20 years. Six years ago Ms. Skarpetowski returned to college to pursue a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing as an adult learner. She says the experience definitely gave her a new perspective on life, as she graduated two years after her three sons completed their college educations. She believes that every day presents a new learning experience.

Ms. Skarpetowski is active in the Operating Room Nurses’ Association (AORN) and has been a President, Board Member, and is the current Treasurer. The goal in AORN is for continuous education for OR Nurses to benefit themselves and their patients. The Operating Room has always been her first love in Nursing and she is happy to bring her expertise and joy to this area of ambulatory surgical care.
