After graduating from NYU Engineering/Polytechnic Institute of New York, Dr. William Gomez earned his Medical Degree from Columbia University's
College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York, New York. His general surgery residency was completed at St. Vincent's Hospital and Medical Center in New York,
New York and his orthopedic Surgery residency was at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center's New York Hospital. Dr. Gomez was also awarded an orthopedic
fellowship in sports medicine at the University of Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania.
He was named as one of the "New York Metro Area Top Doctors" in orthopedic surgery from 2000 through 2006, as one of the "New Jersey Top Doctors"
in orthopedic surgery for 2001 through 2006 and as a "Top Doc" in America for 2006. Dr. Gomez specializes in sports medicine and arthroscopy. He is affiliated
with Saint Francis Medical Center, Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital and Capital Health System, as well as serving as the orthopedic team physician for
the Trenton Titans and Trenton Thunder.
Dr. Gomez' professional membership include the American Orthopedic Society of Sports Medicine, the New Jersey Medical Society, the Mercer County
Medical Society and the New Jersey Orthopedic Society. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthopedic Surgeons and a Fellow of the American Academy of
Orthopedic Surgeons.
