Gregory Cox, MD - Ophthalmology

Born and raised in New Jersey, Dr. Cox attended Rutgers University graduating summa cum laude. He then attended Hahnemann University School of Medicine in Philadelphia on a merit scholarship, graduating in the top five of his class.

Dr. Cox pursued an ophthalmology residency at UMDNJ in Newark. He served as the Department of Ophthalmology's Chief Resident from 1995 - 1996. He completed a formal cornea/refractive surgery fellowship at the prestigious Anheuser-Busch Eye Institute at St. Louis University. Dr. Cox's training was focused in cornea transplantation, radial/astigmatic keratotomy and laser/LASIK vision correction. In addition, he contributed to the FDA trials leading to the approval of Intacs corneal rings.

Dr. Cox interests and clinical experience include refractive errors, cataracts, corneal disease, glaucoma and other visual problems.
