James Taitsman, MD, FACS - Orthopedic Surgery

James P. Taitsman graduated Cum Laude and with high distinction in Biology from Dartmouth College before attending the University of Rochester School of Medicine where he received his medical degree. He completed his surgical and orthopaedic training at Yale New Haven Hospital and served as an instructor at the Yale School of Medicine prior to beginning his private practice in the Trenton area in 1976. Dr. Taitsman is a board certified orthopaedic surgeon and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.

He is proud to be a member of the surgical staff practicing at the New Jersey Surgery Center. Dr. Taitsman also has hospital privileges at every hospital in Mercer County. His areas of special interest include arthroscopic knee surgery, shoulder surgery, hand surgery and total joint replacements.

Dr. Taitsman’s professional memberships are with the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the American College of Surgeons, the Yale Orthopaedic Society, the American Medical Association, the New Jersey Medical Society, the Mercer County Medical Society, the New Jersey Orthopaedic Society and the New Jersey Directors Association.
