After graduating from Seton Hall University College of Arts and Sciences in South Orange, New Jersey, Stephen J. Roman went on to earn his
medical degree from New Jersey Medical School in Newark. His training was continued with an internal medicine and physical medicine and rehabilitation residency
at the New Jersey Medical School. Dr. Roman also earned a fellowship to study interventional pain management at Emory University with Georgia Pain Physicians
in Atlanta.
His areas of expertise cover non-operative management of spine disorders, elctrodiagnostic studies and interventional pain management. Dr. Roman is
affiliated with Saint Francis Medical Center and the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Hamilton.
Dr. Roman is a Diplomate of the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation with an additional certificate in the subspecialty of pain
management. He is also a member of the American Association of Electrodiagnostic Medicine, the American Association of Spine, Sports and Occupational Rehabilitation,
the New Jersey Medical Society and Mercer County Medical Society.
