James C. Ricketti received is BA in biology from Rider University, Lawrenceville, New Jersey before earning his Doctorate of
Podiatric Medicine from the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in Cleveland. He completed his medical training with a podiatric medicine and
surgery residency, and an orthopedic residency at St. Luke’s and Children’s Hospital in Philadelphia, Penn. Dr. Ricketti is certified by the
New Jersey Podiatric Medical Society and the American Board of Podiatric Medicine and Podiatric Orthopedics. In addition, he is a Fellow of the
International Academy of Clinical Electrodynography, the American College of Foot Orthopedists and the American Board of Podiatric Sports Medicine.
His hospital affiliations include the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Hamilton where he serves as the Secretary/Treasurer of the Department
of Surgery.
Dr. Ricketti has served as a podiatric consultant for the Cleveland Indians, Boston Red Sox, Langer Biomechanics Group,
American Academy of Clinical Electrodynography, Reebok Olympic Support Team, Prince Racquet and Shoe Company, International Dance and Exercise
Association, Solarcare Technologies Corporation, Pedinol Pharmaceutical Incorporated and Bioelectronix Corporation.
Dr. Ricketti is also a distinguished inventor. Among his creations is the Monocete/EZ Swab, the Phenol EZ Swab and the
Histofreezer Cryosurgical Technique for Treating Verruca Plantaris. Dr. Ricketti has been honored as the Hamilton YMCA "Man of the Year"
in 2004 has received the Meritorious Service Award from the Podiatric Medical Association in 2001. He is also a member of the New Jersey
Board of Medical Examiners.
